A Faint Smile
Wake me up,
And everybody else,
Because the dawn is there,
Downstairs, in the kitchen,
Ten minutes and the tea is here.
Ready or not? Each new day,
Make the breakfast,
and the lunch too,
Quarter to nine, "Hey I'm late",
Countdown begins,
Five, Four, Three, two....
The Morning Mania does not let you,
Take a break for a while.,
But, Mother, I still find,
On your face, a faint smile.
The school begins,
And the daily routine,
Teacher's profession is not easy,
I know before the clock strikes three,
There, you must be very busy.
Tired after six hours,
You blow the horn, of the car,
I open up the gate and see you in,
You dine at lunch with the little Jin,
Hiding the face of a sleepy scar!
Do the little chores,
Like washing those silly clothes,
Fed up of seeing you wash,
Every second day,
Why don't you just go and rest,
And leave everything at bay!
The Afternoon Mania does not let you,
Take a break for a while.,
But, Mother, I still find,
On your face, a faint smile.
Jin has to play,
And do the homework,
Handling the sweet naughty child,
As tough as to wake up a sluggard!
Milk--Supper--Tea,
Time is odd,
How do you manage mother,
and not be a slipshod!
The Evening Mania does not let you,
Take a break for a while.,
But, Mother, I still find,
On your face, a faint smile.
Night has arrived,
With the darkness behind,
Dinner...well done!
Damn those dishes! Please, just shun!
But you are not stopping, just carrying on,
Makes me wonder, what on earth,
keeps you, going on...
So the All-day Mania does not let you,
Take a break for a while,
But, Mother , I don't wanna ever,
Never wanna lose that smile,
Because, Mother, I still find,
On your face, a faint smile.
And everybody else,
Because the dawn is there,
Downstairs, in the kitchen,
Ten minutes and the tea is here.
