A tree stands "still" which is bereft of the leaves from November to February but stays upright striving hard to survive the cold winter. Not losing hope and being patient enough to wait for the spring is the best part of it. So the tree does get gifted with green leaves during the spring and all stays green till Oct. "Life is hard and too short to be worried and reminisce about the spring (the good times). Get lessons from the winter (tough times) and you'll go stronger..." When the dawn marks the beginning of another day, so many small sparrows, parrots and sometimes magpies too come on to forage and thus feed on the rice that we keep for them. After that when the whole world is awake, the (late-lateef) gang of crows bangs in and all beautiful parrots fly off perhaps out of fear---crows seem to be selfish, don't let anybody else eat in their presence...
