The Examination Glitch

Class XII. CBSE Board Exams.  First Exam - English. March 2013. English was one such subject that always saved my percentage. And it was one such subject I never worried about. I studied it in a quick. Not because I was extremely over confident of my command over the subject but because English just happened to me. Perhaps the credit went to my immense reading habits since Class V. Its just the reading and those stories that somehow fortunately landed me right grammatically. But I had nothing to boast about because I did not know the tenses and how to convert sentences from one tense to the other. Honestly, I still do not know. I continue to try. So the only thing I always did in the 'Section-B : Writing' of that question paper was - follow the instinct, play with words for they fantasized me and pour some good cursive handwriting. And it worked. So once again I was writing and writing and time was running. For the first time in my life and sadly in the last English exam of m...

Fourth Day : On a Random Occurence

19-07-16 Today was the fourth day. I hoped to see him because I did not find him past three days. But I had no clue how to get to see him. I had to leave tomorrow. Today was the last day. I thought he would come to play with my brother but my brother went to the school grounds in the evening. And this way I lost the chances there as well. He being the last thought and the consistent note in my mind, I moved towards the front car seat. It was 3:30 p.m. There was flood from the gates of The Sacred Hearts'. And coming towards, I found Imraan with a group of his friends. He kept on looking at me till the car moved past him maybe in an attempt to recognize me. I gave back a smile so continuous while my eyes were scanning his friends in order to find him somewhere. He was not there. I felt disappointed. It dawned upon me that maybe this time...

It was the winter of November. Muniya had been eagerly waiting for her grandfather to come home. A surprise was being awaited. It was sound of a car applying brakes that she heard and she came to know, it was time. She did not run out of home like any kid would do out of happiness. She was shy and reserved. She silently waited for Amma to recieve her father. Standing in, she waited for her grandfather to appear out of the door left half-opened. He came with a warm greeting and slowly zipped off his jacket. "Look! Look! What do I have? " To her surprise and amazement, a small white puppy tried to show up, its eyes barely opening. A sight never experienced before seemed so cute to the innocence of the little girl. She spread her hands forward to hold the living toy. She had never held one before. Her small hands around the little puppy posed the most sweet moment of the time. Her mouth open with joy and eyes disagreeing to blink. It was a  Pomeranian. The aura had suddenly...
