I woke up
I woke up today with the very first thought-- Ah! Its just monday... Just monday because there are still 7 days more that I'll be at home, then college again... Experienced a different morning after so many good days as I woke up. And I woke up peacefully Without any hustle and bustle in mind Without thinking what's gonna happen today With an empty mind, I woke up. And with this emptiness in my mind I'm ready to grasp Ready to perceive Ready to learn Whatever nature brings about For with the greenery in my heart I woke up. No rush, no crowd, smiling at the day, I woke up Greeting the time, but Wishing to stop it For I never want these days To end up, I woke up. Once more I can hear the birds sing And the water flow For with nature's song in my heart I woke up. Moved outside Cool breeze mingling with my hair locks Near the truth Far from lies With new dreams in my eyes I woke up.
